This thoroughly authentic farmhouse is situated with beautiful countryside views. The last 1.5 km towards the house is a gravel road which takes you through the real countryside.
This is a picture-postcard type house in a tranquil setting of natural beauty. There is a 9 x 5 m swimming pool set in the garden surrounded by a stone terrace with outdoor furniture. It has an oven, a small fridge and limited kitchen facilities but enough to get by with. This house is more suited to those who appreciate an authentic and natural setting rather than modern comforts. There is no dishwasher or air conditioning.

However, there is nothing wrong with the furniture and the lovely pergola in the garden more than makes up for the lack of smart electrical appliances. The house does not have a dishwasher or air conditioning/central heating.
Arezzo is approx. 10km away where you can find plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment. The town has an interesting medieval past with significant Renaissance remains but is not overrun by tourists. Here you will find the nearest railway station also. The nearest restaurant is approx. 5 Km away in the town of Ponte Buriano which is where you can also find the Ponte (Bridge) which is featured in the background of Leonardo da Vinci's 'Monalisa'.
On the ground floor there is a bathroom with a toilet and shower and a room with a washing machine and an iron. On the first floor there is a large living room with an open kitchen and an impressive fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed, two bedrooms with two single beds in each plus a bathroom with bath tub and shower. A wooden staircase takes you to the second floor where there is a lovely living room with a sofa bed for one person.
We had a wonderful week in Casa Rossa, and the description of the house lived 100% up to the description of In-Italia. Lovely decorated with old, fine Italian furniture and nice stone floors. The kitchen standard has been improved since the latest review. Big fridge and all necessary tableware. The house was nice and clean and the hosts - two older brothers, received us well. Be prepared for them coming over every other day cleaning the pool, watering the flowers and feeding the cat-family around the house.
The view of the valley is fantastic, and here you truly get a house in a undisturbed location - besides the crowing cock, and at night the barking dogs in the area around the house.....
Locally, there's a small, lovely family restaurant with good service and community singing Friday evening.
The house's location isn't suitable for cars with a low undercarriage, since the last 200 meters to the house is of a bumpy gravel road with rocks and holes.
