The sense of history here is wonderful, as it goes way back to the 14th Century. Here you stay on the edge of the charming village of Castellina in Chianti. You can choose from a number of small, well-appointed apartments, where you can enjoy at relaxing break and get a real taste of this wonderful Chianti region.
Of course you have the opportunity to purchase some bottles of the farm's wines directly, but you can also enjoy them by the glass in the cosy self-service bar. Such an option is rare and without doubt much more of a pleasure than the mini-bar option. Here you can open and pour your own wine and record what you have consumed and this is added to your bill. The bar adjoins a small reading room with sofas which also has Satellite TV where you are welcome to make yourselves at home. There is also a small breakfast restaurant on the farm if you wish to have breakfast prepared for you for a fee.
All apartments have views over the vineyards, so you can relax on your private terrace and take in the views when you like. Of course there is also the shared swimming pool where you can take a dip or laze on a sunbed with a good glass of wine. When you feel the need to explore, there are many places in the area steeped in history to be discovered.

The apartments are well-appointed and soberly finished, all with private bathrooms and kitchen facilities. However, the apartments have neither a TV, air conditioning or internet access as Collelungo is designed to be a place in rustic surroundings away from distractions. It is also more suitable for couples rather than large families. There are some steps in the grounds between the differing levels of the pool, house and car park.

Calm and peaceful accommodation. Very lovely rooms and good kitchen equipment, so it was possible to cook food. However it was very hot and lots of bugs, so I think that other periods than July would be better for a vineyard vacation. Lovely pool area and very good wine.
Our first time in Tuscany, but not the last.
The service and hospitality was just GREAT! Collelungo is just an amazing and beautiful place. Old buildings surrounded by vineyards, olive grooves as far as you can see. Peace and tranquility is definitely some words that describe this place.
We recommend to rent a car with a high engine motor, because the roads can be a bit bumpy :)
We highly recommend this place!!!
