La Fattoria di Vegi

The farm covers 108 hectares, 58 of which are cultivated with grapes, olive trees and cereal. The farm produces god red wines, the traditional Tuscan vinsanto, an excellent extra virgin olive oil and grappa from Chianti Classico.

Accommodation is provided in the imposing and well restored villa and also in the nearby house once occupied by the farm manager. There is a fine swimming pool by the house with views over the vineyards covering the hills nearby. This is really far from anywhere, in the middle of the loveliest Tuscan countryside, but be prepared - the road leading to the farm demands sedate driving and is not suitable for sports cars with low lying bodywork. It is charming but exceedingly rustic! 

The original farmhouse is called Casa Fermintini. The building dates back to the 17th century and is approx. 300 m².
- On the ground floor there is a very spacious living room (110 m²) with an old fireplace, a large kitchen with oven and dishwasher as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower (with facilities for the disabled). The room next to the kitchen is especially suitable for a wheelchair user
- - On the first floor there are three bedrooms with double beds, each with its own bathroom with toilet and shower, one bedroom sleeping 3 with own bathroom with toilet and shower, two bedrooms en suite (one sleeping 3 and one with a single bed) both have own bathroom with toilet and shower.
The house is equipped with satellite TV, telephone and fax and laundry room with washing machine.

Casa del Guardia was built in the 19th century and the apartment is on the first floor above the old stables. It is approx. 100 m² and consists of a large living room with kitchenette and fireplace as well as dining table and sofa corner. There are two bedrooms with double bed plus single bed (both have own bathrooms with toilet and shower). The apartment has a dishwasher and washing machine.

Casa del Guardia is only rented out in connection with Casa Fermentini as a kind of annex.
