The kind and friendly owners of Fattoria La Palazzeta - Chiara and her husband Giovanni, have two lively boys who usually become good playmates with the guests' children. Chiara has been providing family holidays to European visitors for years, even before she became a mother. She sold many of the apartments that were on the original farm where she lives and built new homes from scratch to suit present day requirements and needs. All apartments face the pool, which is divided into two distinct parts : one side of the pool is shallow and is perfect for your children to play, whilst the other is deeper and perfect for a swim. The pool area is completely fenced and secure providing a safe enclosure for the children.
Besides the good pool, your children can delight in the little path that Chiara has created for the children to run around or cycle on. The local water park - Acqua Village Cecina is nearby and provides a fun day out for all the family. If that is not your thing, then you can see bambi (deer for us adults) in the surrounding pine forests! Of course there is much fun to be had at the beach including the obligatory sand castle building. There are some really interesting medieval villages along the Tuscan coast to explore with historic castles and windy streets. Most of them are detailed in the guidebook called "The Classic Tuscany". There are also activities for adults who come to Tuscany to taste the great wines from Bolgheri, Sassetta, Riparbella, Castagneto Carducci, etc.
Each apartment has entrance from the garden or terrace on the ground floor. You will not overheat either as they are all equipped with air conditioning, and neither will you have to leave your home comforts behind as they also have a dishwasher, wireless internet and satellite TV. Sleeping accommodation in the living room is quite ordinary but sufficient for small and larger children - or adults even to have a comfortable sleep. In addition, you can look forward to sitting outside for dinner or for an aperitif in the warm weather. In addition , there is a communal car park with enough space for all the guests from the 16 apartments.

Nuova Fattoria La Palazzeta is truly a pearl. The place is actually a resort, but appears very authentic since about half he guests are Italian, which contributes to the preservation of the Tuscan atmosphere and culture. The staff is very kind and accommodating, and you clearly feel, that they especially are fond of children. The children are allowed to fill, and the activities are well thought out. Besides the big pool, where one half is for the small children, there's EL ATV motor-cross driving in the evening, football or the small ones can get a ride on a pony. Our children especially think, that is was fun to visit the hen house, and collect fresh eggs for the breakfast.
The rooms are high class for Italian standards. They are relatively new, clean and with good kitchens, which families with small children appreciate. However there's missing an oven, which reduces the quality a bit.
We have been here 3 times as a guest, and as always we had a great time. As a large family, we enjoyed the place. Even with bad weather, it offers plenty of space inside to enjoy the day!
