In the middle of a large green area and only 2 km from the beach you find Residence L'Aliante. The old Aurelia road, which can be quite busy at the weekends when the locals go to the beach, runs 50 m from the houses and is separated from the property by a 2.5 m high laurel hedge. A railway line runs 250 m away and is audible at times.
There are only six apartments here and they are linked to the old farm "La Maestrale". The apartments are new and have been furnished in traditional Tuscan style, but they still have all modern comforts including air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe, small football field and swimming pool.

The apartments are surrounded by the farm's enormous estate where olive trees, vines and pine trees are grown. Bike-hire is available on the farm. In short, this is the place for those who want it all: traditional Tuscan interior (with all mod cons), close vicinity to beach (but still in good countryside), good swimming beach (but close to the big sights)…and who can stand the close proximity to a tarmac road!
The nearby town Cecina has lots of shops, restaurants and bars.
