This peacefully located Villa offers a selection of apartments located near a town and within driving distance to Pisa (20 km) and just 25 km away from the sandy beaches of Calambrone. It consists of two newly built properties set around a lovely swimming pool with a children's pool and water massage.
There is a pleasant communal garden here with a beautiful swimming pool, a barbeque and plenty of outdoor furniture. It should be noted that this pool is salt water. There is also a small playground for children a reception, a table tennis, a coffee shop and laundry room and parking.

In the large, green garden, there is also a barbeque and even more tables and chairs for common use and a small playground for the younger children. At Villa Rossana there is also a reception, table tennis, a laundry room with two washing machines and parking.
The small village Cenaia offers more shopping and restaurants: Pizzeria L'Angolo is 500 metres away, a baker and a grocer are 600 metres away, 500 metres away there is a butcher etc. We can also recommend a visit to the restaurant Da Ivo (900m away) if you are not afraid of real Tuscans and a consequent kitsch furnished dining room.
As the owners of the villa produce furniture, the villa has no weaknesses in terms of the internal arrangements. The furniture and decor is inspired by the classic lines of the arte povera style. In some cases, the architect chose to put heavy curtains instead of doors between housing facilities. Further facilities in all apartments include a television and stove with an oven. Most apartments have air conditioning. You can also choose "unspecified" apartments which will be one of the above but where you start from the number of bedrooms.

Lovely, well maintained, private holiday home.
The small village of Cenaia is situated on the edge of Tuscany. The "real" Tuscany with the typical rolling hills landscape can be reached in about 30-45 minutes. Our house "Ortensia" offers 2 levels large enough for our family of 5. The house is nice and practical furnished. We have much self-catering, oven, stove, large refrigerator with freezer leave no wish open. There are 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms, which is perfect for a large family. Only the shower should be renovated (shower head and joints). On regular basis, we enjoyed our dinner on the small terrace in front of the house. Our house was the "most remote one" from the pool. We write in quotes because far it is as close as 50mtr. and our children enjoyed very much. The pool is great, with a little children's area, a small integrated whirlpool. It is looked after daily and on the contrary to the description of the resort on "in.Italia" in our opinion the pool is not filled with seawater. The pool is very clean and we did not have the typical smell caused by chlorine! Just great. There where sun beds and mostly we had the pool for us alone. At the small pool bar you get ice cream, small snacks and drinks.
It is the loveliest place we've been yet. We came to totally relax and you could say, that there is plenty of opportunity to do just that. The hosts were so fantastic, and they are the reason we will be coming back
Chiara was very kind and helpful. I don't think you should have to play 9 euros for air condition, which should be included in the price. Checkout is between 08:00-10:00, which is way too early. And especially to the standard, which is 11:00. The apartment was otherwise well equipped when we cooked for ourselves. Good distance to the supermarket. Very good parking facilities for those who travel by car.
Very relaxing and cosy atmosphere. There are loungers by the pool for all guests, and the pool has a lovely temperature - also for a 3-year-old! In one end of the pool, our 3-year-old could just barely stand on its toes, and in the bigger pool our 6-year-old could practice headlong dives. There are lots of parasols and always an available bench, where you can get some shadow. The staff is accommodating and very service minded.
It is quiet in the evening - except for the 2 enjoyable arrangements, which were arranged during our stay: wine tasting from a local vineyard - and a "bruchetta" evening, where there were bruchettas, avec ice cream, sing along, dance and disco with loud music - very festive! We tried to prolong our stay, but the apartment was sadly already booked. All 4 of us agreed that we would be back. All in all a week with calm, lovely times and lots of swimming.
Villa Rossana is a fantastic place and I can only recommend this to all. It is all you need when you have children. A small bar with ice cream, toast, wine and cappuccino. A lovely pool and some fantastic hosts.
Villa Rosanna is a wonderful place, where you only feel welcome.
It is the whole family who makes the whole thing work - young or old ;-)
The area is great, lovely apartment with good room, wonderful garden and pool, bar with coffee, ice cream, toast, candy and chocolate, the bar is almost open throughout the whole day. Antonio is definitely somewhere nearby ;-)
Planned arrangements, like wine tastings and cooking in the kitchen, are written on the board by the pool. But there are also spontaneous events, like setting up a table by the pool and serving ice cold watermelon or a glass of cool wine and lemonade.
The villa lies very centrally for the area's attractions, like Pisa and Lucca.
Pool area and garden is so lovely and there is always room. And you can easily spend the whole day there. There is also a small playground for smaller kids, and a grill which can be used by all.
There is, however, missing a dossier/information board about all the nearby attractions, where you can park, opening hours, etc. And if they made a map over Cenaia with the baker, butcher, post office, etc, it would also help a lot. There is a fair bit of shops that were closed, and it was pretty difficult to check it if was because of an extended siesta or they were completely closed.
