When you pass through this area, it occurs to you that there are not many vineyards, but rather there are more forests and small towns on hilltops scattered around, with a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, and even further to the Etruscans.
It is a really small town, and can easily be described as quaint. It is situated on the hilltop with its old houses, and the remains of fortification walls and church towers. It does not take long to go from one end of town to the other, so you will shortly be able to say that you've been through all of its streets, but it is a balm for the soul to drink a glass of wine at the bar in company of the town's elderly, or to eat a well-made delicious meal at the local trattoria.
