The old farm of I Nidi di Belforte has been elegantly renovated and now offers 8 guest apartments set in this idyllic haven of Tuscan tranquillity. The whole place is a testimony to the love and care Nara and Enrico have poured into the project.
The apartments are exceptionally beautiful and are all furnished throughout with some antique pieces and good taste in general. The views are wonderful, and although you are far away from the hordes of tourists, everything of interest is within easy reach. No wonder I Nidi di Belforte gets booked up quickly from June to September every year. The farm is built around a medieval watch tower a few kilometres from Dicomano and in reasonable distance from Florence. The altitude, 500 m above sea level, means that the temperature is pleasant even in the middle of summer.

The farm is surrounded by a large green lawn with a swimming pool (7 x 14 m) and eight apartments; all well furnished and spacious. Facilities close by include tennis, river bathing in the valley, horse riding and golf. Trekking, walking and bird watching in the woods are also great activities to do here.
The nearest shopping is in Dicomano – but it is also possible to buy some of the farm produce directly from the host couple Enrico and Nara. Also, Dicomano is the nearest train station and here it is easy to take a trip to Florence. There is a shared laundry room that is free for guests to use.
