When you head eastward into the mountains from Cortona and Castiglione Fiorentino, you come to Cantalena Alta after about 15 km. It's a small hamlet at 750 m altitude, and home to a handful of inhabitants. Stunning views and peace you can be sure of in abundance up here.
Stay far from the Madding Crowd
Best not to come here if you want to be surrounded by activities and people, in other words here is a place for quiet contemplation, enjoying nature and the tranquillity. To arrive at the house, you have to follow a 4 km gravel road, so it is not advisable to arrive here in a low sports car.

The little house has its own, ompletely fenced garden with a swimming pool where you can relax in the deck chairs and enjoy each others company. At the house there is a covered terrace with a table and chairs and a barbeque so plenty of opportunity for dining outdoors when the weather is good.
