All is good actually. To climb the mountain, a 4WD is an advantage, but not a must. Remarkable is the hospitality and generosity of the owners. We received at arrival a bottle of red wine and fresh pizzas. The house and grounds are really secluded, and not the wild boars who "populate" the terrain behind the picturesque small cemetery, but these cannot get to the premises as there are good fences.
The swimming pool is superb and was cleaned with us every three days by the owner in early early morning. The electrical system of the house is not the strongest, you can only use a large appliances one at the time, like stove etc, otherwise the fuses will drop out. However this is part of the old and authentic houses and a marginal thing. We would definately go back.
