Well suited for a family holiday

Villa Le Celle is an old house (monastery) and is located beautifully with a wonderful pool, where the whole family, big or small, can scamper about. The house is OK decorated, like Italian homes are, the bathrooms are fine, and the kitchen works, even though you should do a follow up on the service.
The house lies down a very narrow gravel road, but once you get used to it, it's fine. It also only takes about 15 mins to walk to the town, which is very charming, and has restaurants and cafes.
If possible, we recommend arriving at the house while there is light outside. We arrived in the middle of the night because of flight delays and car rental in Rome, so we were very tired. We had to be shown around the house to get a handle on the electrical installations and to give us an overview of the facilities. In one of the rooms we saw a very - very tiny - scorpion, which was quickly removed, but it wasn't the best thing to start off with. The landlord apologized and explain that it usually wasn't a problem, and it wasn't. But come during the day, if possible, you will get a better start.
There are 4 good bedrooms with room for 8 adults. There are also 2 sofas in other rooms, which are more living rooms.
The view is fantastic and the area is very idyllic. Is warmly recommended.
