This is an authentic farm in the hands of a large Tuscan family just as authentic. The main building is a magnificent 16th century villa from the time when all wealthy Florentines had to have a country house southeast of the city for the hotter months of the year.
The beautiful old farm produces wine from the surrounding fields, but as the owners will tell you, their strength is meat and charcuterie. For generations their primary business has been breeding cattle and deer on their land. Their tasty produce is for sale at the butchers in Rufina, or the family will bring it to you themselves. The family will also cook for the guests if arranged in advance!

The family occupies part of the farm themselves, but since it really is very big, they have converted part of it to apartments, which can be rented on a weekly basis. The apartments have all been given names after members of the family, and like the family the apartments are rustic and typical for the area. As it is an old building, no two apartments are alike, and the old features are in evidence everywhere and include exposed ceiling beams, vaulted ceilings and bread ovens.
The apartments are simply and solidly furnished in a style suited to the farm and the locality. They all have a fireplace, satellite TV and own garden or terrace. In the large garden surrounding the villa there is a swimming pool, 16 x 8 m.
