Enjoy dining al fresco
There is a lovely terrace outdoors for dining and stylish covered pergola with comfortable furniture from where you have views of vineyards, olive trees and gentle hills surrounding the town of Volterra. The lovely swimming pool (12 x 4 metres and 130 cm deep) has an area for water massage and is surrounded by sun loungers and parasols where you can while away the hours with a good book in the sun. The garden is surrounded by a stone wall guaranteeing privacy.
Villa Angelica - 5 bedrooms, sleeps 10/13 (approx. 400 m²) :
- The villa is approx. 400 m² and is divided into two levels. On the ground floor we find a kitchen with five ring gas hob, an oven, a dishwasher and a fridge with a freezer compartment, a living room with a fireplace, satellite TV and a sofa set, a second living room (decorated with frescoes) with a sofa set, a dining room with a large dining table and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet and a newly refurbished (2012) bedroom with a double bed (can be separated into two single beds). On the first floor we find a corridor leading to two bedrooms with a double bed (one actually with a four-poster bed). Another corridor leads to two bedrooms each with two single beds (which optionally can be joined to make double beds). In three of the bedrooms it is possible to add a bed. On the first floor there are two bathrooms with a shower and a toilet, one also has a bath.
The village and around
In the village you can find grocery shops, a pastry bar, a bank, post office, a pharmacy, a doctors surgery. The area around lends itself well to trekking and mountain biking, and horse riding, The many nearby villages are all full of great historic, artistic and cultural interest such as Volterra (20km), San Gimignano (29km), Pisa (48km), Siena (68km), Florence (73 km) and Lucca (49km).
The villa is also equipped with: air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, satellite television, DVD player, internet access, hairdryer and a barbeque.
