Hotel Palazzo Ricasoli is located in the heart of Florence historical centre. It takes a short walk to the Academy Gallery and the Duomo. The hotel is housed in a 16th century palace that used to be owned by the Ricasoli family. The hotel still preserves the private collection from the family existing out of many sculptures and art works. As you come in, you feel a majestic atmosphere with the ceiling full with ornaments and decorated walls.
The hotel is officially classified as a four star hotel. At In-Italia we rather be realistic and classify the hotel as 3 suns. So if you take this in to account, the expectations are a tempered. Thought, the hotels service is quite well up to standard and also provides a restaurant and bar. You can have your morning moment for yourself, and enjoy your coffee after the breakfast buffet at the courtyard of the hotel. If you don’t feel like going out to the city, here you can chill out during the day on a comfortable deck chair, reading your book, having a small nap or perhaps to have a lunch in the sun.
If you do feel like it, the reception can help you with advice where to go, book your museum tickets and organize wine tasting. There is a parking facility at the hotel , where you pay an added fee of ca. 20 euro per night.

Though, the rooms are very spacious, comfortable and all equipped with air conditioning, sat TV, wifi internet connection and en-suite bathrooms with shower.
