Lorenzo and his family will do all they possibly can to make your stay comfortable and homely, embracing you with a familiar atmosphere. They happily share all their knowledge about things to do and see in and around the area. If you have a culinary interest and would like to try out your skills in their kitchen, Ms Paola runs cooking classes for anything from 2 to 20 people. It is a two hour course, during which you can learn to cook - and then will have the pleasure to eat - a total of four traditional Tuscan dishes. Naturally accompanied by a good glass of Chianti. It is all happening in the lovely pavilion where even the breakfast is served in the morning with a buffet of homemade cakes, cold cuts and hot dishes (at an extra price, to order). You can find a lot of good restaurants in Tuscany, but you do not need to travel far to have a good meal here. At approximately 250 m from Marignolle Relais & Charme is the well-known inn "Bibe", who even offers a shuttle service to guests staying at Marignolle Relais & Charme. If you prefer to stay in, you can always ask Lorenzo if he can throw a light meal together for you, which is never a problem, time allowing. So if you already know the previous day, let him know that you will be either having lunch or dinner "at home", and the restaurant will be open for you, serving antipiasti, pasta dishes and dessert.

Green hills and olive groves
Living outside the city you are surrounded by a lot of beautiful rural charm and rolling green hills. And this is amongst the qualities that guests here appreciate the most. Just to be able to relax in quiet surroundings. There is a pool area with deck chairs and parasols, perfect for a start or end to a lovely day i Tuscany.
A perfect location for escursions in the area
The small town of Galluzzo is just 1,5 km away, here you can find all you need; supermarket, pharmacy, post office, bars and restaurants. You are also close to Scandicci (3 km), where you also find bars, a selection of restaurants, supermarkets and a good deal of shopping. If you need a larger selection, then Florence is within reach. Just park your car in Scandicci for instance, and proceed by local bus service. Tuscany offers a large variety of cultural and historic attractions, and in just half an hour by car driving southbound you can reach the lovely hills of the Chianti district. You can easily program daytrips to charming towns like San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca and Siena, just to mention a few. Lorenzo also organizes wine-tours, something he has been doing with great Tuscan passion for more than 15 years. If your shopping gene needs satisfying, then The Mall with all its designer labels will make you happy. And if it´s a SPA and wellness experience you long for then you have the Klab Marignolle just 3 min away (by car). They offer steam baths, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, a gym and off course a wide range of treatments and massages. You also have tennis courts and golf courses in the vicinity.

There are only 10 rooms at Marignolle Relais & Charme, and you can choose between doubleroom (Deluxe), with or without outdoor area/garden, Junior Suite and Junior Suite (Superior). All rooms have aircondition, safe, sat-tv, wi-fi, minibar, tea/coffea and hairdryer. Continental breakfast is included.
