This beautiful villa from the 1800s enjoys a tranquil setting in its 22 hectare park a few kilometres outside Florence. If you want to visit Florence, but not suffer the pollution, noise and hoards of tourists, you should treat yourself to a stay at Villa Le Rondini.
The land around the property is covered by olive groves and woods and hides four aristocratic villas surrounded by green and well manicured gardens.
The largest of them all is Villa Le Rondini. It has the most bedrooms and houses the reception. There is also a swimming pool and banqueting hall at Villa Le Rondini, and weddings and anniversaries are often celebrated here.
350 m from the main buildings you find Villa Il Cupolino on the highest point of the property. Villa Il Cupolino has a conference rooms, several bedrooms and a tennis court.
Villa Uliveto and Villa La Cava (300 and 700 m from the main building respectively) have further bedrooms.
Normally the hotel would try to meet the guests' wishes as regards location of the bedrooms, but we cannot guarantee accommodation in a particular villa. It should be pointed out that it is always possible to order free transport to the main building or other parts of the property, but most would probably choose to walk in the magnificent private park, as distances are fairly manageable.

The bedrooms are different both with regard to interior design and size, because the villas were originally built as aristocratic residences. However, the old rooms are stylishly decorated with beautiful furniture, and all the bedrooms are air conditioned and have satellite TV, telephone, mini bar, safe deposit box and en suite bathroom with shower or bath tub and hair dryer.
The hotel also runs a fine restaurant, which is popular with the Florentines for weddings and other big occasions, which must say something about the quality. In the park there is a swimming pool (9 x 19 m) and floodlit tennis court. Furthermore, the hotel can offer other facilities including babysitting service, participation in the olive harvest, procurement of concert tickets, and hire of bikes.
In contrast to the city centre hotels it is easy to get to Villa Le Rondini by car, and public transport also works fine. Bus No. 25 goes a few hundred meters from the hotel and takes you to the city centre and the main line station.
