This fine villa is located in the quiet outskirts of the charming little town of Greve in Chianti, where you comfortably can stroll around, have a drink on the terrace or check out the little shops around. You have the advantage of both, the silence of the countryside and amenities in town only at 10 minutes walk
Casa Verdiana is a modern villa in a fresh decorated style where you will find all possible comfort. Here you find a fully equipped kitchen, with a stylish living room and comfortable sofas, a lovely well maintained garden of ca. 400 m2 with a great veranda to enjoy an outdoor dinner. The villa has a private swimming pool (9 x 3 meters, depth 1.30 meters) and a lovely outside deck area complete with deck chairs and umbrellas, for you to read your book in the shade at the side of the pool.
In addition to the space you have on the ground floor and outdoor, the villa comes with five bedrooms with a total of 10 beds. Four of these rooms have its own bathroom. The fifth bedroom is up in the "tower" and, you sleep there, you can use the shared bathroom, which is located on the ground floor. In return, this bedroom has the best view on the surrounding landscape.
If you plan to go to Tuscany in September, during the second weekend we like to suggest you the festival Chianti Classico Expo. A very nice wine festival in the Piazza on friday, Saturday and sunday.

There are a total of four independent villas near each other (linked via a small arcade) of which we sell three of them; a fine solution for those who travel in large company. The other two named Casa Turchesa and Casa Amaranta, and you can read about these in the separate descriptions. This house: Casa Verdiana, is on three floors, 200 sqm. and can accommodate up to 10 people. There is an option for two additional beds. In the villa you have a total of five bathrooms, wi-fi internet, satellite TV, microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, laundry. There is space to park three cars.
The villa is about 200 m2. and comprises a ground floor with kitchen and dining area facing the pool, nice living room with seating, (outdoor veranda facing the pool) a bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the first floor there are three bedrooms with double beds and a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom each. A staircase leads up to the tower where there is another double bedroom. There is room for two extra beds.
We spent a wonderful relaxing 6 days here. The house had everything we needed and there were no hidden surprises. Our hosts that met us at check in were very helpful and we were able to use the information pack and maps to plan our days out. It is perfectly situated close enough to town to walk to restaurants/supermarket/cafes and has a stunning view from the front balcony. The pool was far too cold to go into at this time of year (though the kids did try it!), but it was great to eat al fresco and enjoy the scenery and peace.
