Il Frutteto enjoys a tranquil setting just outside the medieval town of Lari (approx. 800 m). The nearest restaurant "Il Gallo" is only 200 m away and is locally well thought of. Il Frutteto is located at the end of a byway off the main road from Lari to Casciana Alta, so traffic noise is not a problem.
The name is well chosen – "Il Frutteto" means orchard, and here the guests can help themselves to fruit from various trees. Lari is especially known for the sweet cherries, which cover the hills from the end of May till beginning of June. This is when the big town fiesta takes place.

The house and garden enjoy panoramic views over Lari's fortress, a splendid example of a fortified medieval town that still has a population of approx. 1000 people. There is a barbecue in the garden and a shared covered terrace. A few meters further down the hill a raised swimming pool sits among fruit and olive trees.
Il Frutteto has four apartments, three on the ground floor and one on the first floor - in addition to the one occupied by the owners. The apartments are comfortably furnished and consist of living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed (most suitable for children), bedroom with double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower and terrace with garden furniture.
