Discover the impressive region
With Castello di San Ruffino as your starting point, you have the best possible conditions for an interesing holiday in Tuscany. You can visit the town of Lari (about 4km), and the cosy town of Casciana Terme about 7 km away. You'll find the nearest supermarket about 2 km away. The location also offers good excursion opportunities - both to the coast and the beaches are around 42 km while the Tuscan hinterland with all its medieval towns and wine regions are waiting to be discovered just around the corner.
Take in the historic surroundings
San Ruffino was built in the 1700's as a noble residence, which has since been expanded with associated outbuildings to form an impressive castle. In the late 1900's, the entire castle was completely renovated by the famous Italian architect Bellincioni as builder. Today you can holiday in this tasteful setting where you feel the history and the well-kept parks that surround the castle.
Modern facilities
A gravel road leads you through the castle gardens, where you pass the bean-shaped pool in a small landscape recess. Here you will find sun loungers, umbrellas and an outdoor shower. At the small reception there is a cosy courtyard with a breakfast room and a staircase leading up to the large terrace with garden furniture. There is Wi-Fi on site - the best coverage is on the common terrace and near to the reception. There is also plenty of parking space on site.
Stay in Elegant suites
The rooms of the palace are between 25-35 m² and are all elegantly and tastefully decorated with beautiful details and a romantic touch. The rooms are all classified as Junior Suites, as they consist of two areas. They consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a living area with a large bathroom with a toilet, shower or jacuzzi bath. Junior Suites are all equipped with a wardrobe, flat-screen TV, kettle and hairdryer.
