Inside you will find a typical Italian family home from the 1960 - 1970's in terms of its features and furniture and the pictures that adorn the walls. Although it is generally quite light compared to many Italian apartments.
It is very rare to be able to park centrally in Lucca, however when you stay here you get to drive your car right to the door, within the city's walls! Outside in the parking area you will also find the bus stop where the buses are based and the city's largest bicycle rental. From here it is easy to get around the city, whether it is on foot or by public transport. The entrance to the apartment is from Piazza Santa Maria, which is what you look over from several of the apartments windows, whilst the terrace is on the other side of the building facing the small Street via delle Stallette.

The apartment is on the first floor and is approx. 110 m². It consists of an entrance hall, a lounge with sofas and a dining table, a dining kitchen (a dishwasher, a four-burner stove, a small oven and a fridge with a freezer), a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a bedroom with a single bed and a bathroom with a toilet and a bath. The apartment has a 40 m² private terrace with a table and chairs (and a washing machine).
We were pleasantly surprised that people were at work in the office when we came Saturday. We had been told that keys etc. would be in the mail box by the office, as it is closed Saturdays, Sundays and on national holidays.
The apartment is gorgeous. Lovely terrace. However, there is a lot of noise from the parking lot at night. It bothers the people who sleep in the room which faces the parking lot.
Lovely bath tub, but it is impossible to avoid splashing water on the floor when showering. That can be limited if a shower curtain is put up.
Apart from that, we have no remarks. We have enjoyed staying in the apartment.
The apartment is located centrally behind the city wall, and that means, that you can walk to the lovely streets with lots to see and experience.
The apartments decoration is of a very Italian style, which you grow to like.
Everything worked very well, and we had the loveliest evenings out on the terrace - absolutely fantastic. That was, where we spend our times.
The only thing, which is difficult, is finding a parking spot for your car, but we usually found one right outside the city wall or at a parking lot 10 min. walk from the city, where parking is free. Didn't see the big problem.
Bus station in the city with good routes to Florence and Pisa.
We think, that we got a nice orientation from the rental company, and can only recommend others use this wonderful Italian decorated apartment.
Beautiful apartment with an Italian look and with a good location, close to everything.
In-Italia's contacts were fine, good information and comfortable treatment.
We came to Lucca after some time in the northerly Italy. We wished to live in Lucca and explore, enjoy and feel the mood and we did.
Definitely a wonderful week ????
We have used you through the last many years and have been very happy with the outcome each tome. We stayed in a fine, old apartment in Lucca this year. We were in Lucca during a heatwave with the temperature between 35-40 degrees C... so it wasn't the optimal place to stay at. It was just too hot and the big, pretty terrace couldn't be used before late in the evening :-) There was a hose in the garden, however, so we used it a lot when we were boiling....
The apartment would've been perfect if it had been at another time of the year. It lies well and is super lovely, so we would love to recommend it to others. We were in Lucca to take part of the "Lucca summer festival" and we heard a lot of lovely music.
