Good place to stay

Due to health conditions our vacation was shortened by 5 days. In-Italia and Lucia de Borgo Collelungo were very service minded in correlation to find a solution.

A little surprise upon arrival: The road, which leads to the place, is a road without asphalting, and there's lots of holes. Drive cautiously!

When we arrives to the place, we found, that it is spacious and very comfortable. The pool is lovely, but is only open from 9 to 7 pm.

The location is good: Restaurants and shops nearby. We took the train, when we were visiting Florence, which we were advised to do.

A good place to stay. We recommend it.

Consider bringing mosquito spray, since the mosquitoes are rather aggressive!

The good life

After spending a week in Liguria, we arrived in Tuscany. Our first impressions of Borgo Collelungo and the sorroundings was very positive. Borgo consists of some stylish buildings. The limited number of appartments is a plus. It looks like a real home, which makes everything easy. The pool is great and quite large. A point for improvement, however, is the kitchen supplies. The coffee machine works fine. Consider replacing dishes and cutlery.

Finally, I have to mention that you need to be aware that this is a place with a lot of mosquitos! Unfortunately, there are not mosquito nets at the windows. It is quite bothersome.

Tuscany-nature

Peaceful and authentic at the end of a longer gravel road, a bit away from the highway...
Friendly and helpful host couple.
Nice pool and good sunbeds and parasols. There could easily be more.
Nice terraces with good furniture.
The apartments were very simple with basic equipment.
The beds were worn down.
Only one device on the wifi at a time.

Relaxing...

A small cosy place with sweet hosts.
Clean and nice, will definitely recommend living close to the pool, even though you are close to the others, cause it also has the best view.
The air conditioning is a mobile unit with a hose through a window, so it can cool the surroundings down, but it doesn't work.
Our hot water didn't work the last 3 days we were there, but we got offered to shower in a service building and we didn't have to pay for cleaning as compensation.

Lovely and cosy holiday place out in the country

Lovely and cosy, little place with the most beautiful surroundings in eyesight. It certainly lives up to the pictures on In-Italias website. Sweet and friendly and helpful hosts. It lies far from town, so you are a bit solitary, and a spontaneous trip to the city needs to be planned. Nearest restaurant is 1,5 km away and was an OK alternative every once in a while. You need to be aware that, walking into the town at night isn't possible. It happens in a car. 8 km away there lied a supermarket, so you could fill your refrigerator. The pool was fine and had a lot of loungers close and lied close to the house, and because of the size of the place, it wasn't overrun with people. It was also lovely with a big, shared grill, when it was too windy and unsafe to light your own, brought grill. We lived in apartment 107, and had a terrace, which lied for itself, and had a lovely view over the valley. The road from the main-road to the place was a gravel road and very narrow, and after a proper downpour it got full of holes. Can easily recommend this wonderful place to other people.
