Hotel Erconlini & Savi is located in the center of Montecatini Terme and is known for its treasure the thermal waters. Most people come here for spa treatments, from suanas, steam baths, massages to mud baths and beauty treatments. In total there are nine thermal centres immersed in the green of the extensive thermal park. The architecture of the the spas of Montecatini are mainly built in Art Nouveau style and are not-to-be-missed.
In Montecatini Terme, fountains are true masterpieces. Water is the element of life and in Montecatini there are numerous fountains not only within the spas, but also along the streets and in the main squares. If you are not so much a fan of spas, don’t worry, as there is plenty to see and stroll additional to the thermal waters.
You can take the funicular railway going up to Montecatini Alto, a village with medieval origins situated on top of the hill. The railway dates back to the late 1800s and is still in tact. In Alto there are quite a few interesting sites to visit such as the church and convent of Santa Maria from the 12th century and more historical sites. If you prefer to go shopping, no problem as in Montecatini you will find many haute couture boutiques.
Hotel Ercolini & Savi forms a good location to explore Tuscany. 400 meters from the train station, it takes you less than an hour to arrive in Florence and Pisa.

The flagship is their restaurant

La Pecora Negra is the name of the restaurant, literally translated as “ the black sheep” and really well known in town. Excellent dishes from the Tuscan cuisine are served by the chef, with fresh ingredients only. The wine list offers 120 different labels.
The breakfast buffet in the morning is served inside the restaurant or in summer you can enjoy the breakfast outside in the garden terrace. There is a good selection of hot and cold products to choose from. Don’t forget to ask the waiter for a fresh cappuccino. Coming back from a full day exploring, makes you want to have a refreshment or aperitif. The outside terrace forms the perfect setting for a chill out session and in summer often live music is part of the ambiance. Wifi internet is facilitated throughout the hotel and free of charge.
