Kick back and relax true Tuscan style here at the inviting La Poggiarina with a swimming pool just one km from the small village of Montegonzi. You can reach the main farm Borgo di Fontebussi on foot where you will find an even bigger pool with a children's pool and a restaurant.
The lovely garden has a barbeque that you can use, and there is also a reasonable pool here which measures 10 x 8 metres with a depth of 1.30 to 1.70 metres. The children can play on the grassy lawns whilst you stoke up the BBQ for dinner. You can also stroll over to the Borgo di Fontebussi and use the swimming pool and children's playground there.

All apartments come with satellite television and a microwave. They also have a private patio area with a table and chairs where you can enjoy your meal or a glass of wine and the great view.

We visited, for the third time, this place and had yet again a wonderful vacation. La Poggiarina is a peaceful place, beautifully located in the Tuscan hills.
The house is old - but well decorated, nice and clean. We have on purpose chosen either the house Salvia or Rosmarino, when we've been there, to get the big private garden.
Borgo La Poggiarina is a perfect place, if you want a week of pure relaxation. The location requires you to have access to a car, if you wish to see the surrounding area.
The home was equipped for 4 people and met our expectations. One obvious thing to miss, however, is an air condition, when the temperature reaches over 30 degrees. Even though an extra ventilator can be rented at the reception, it is still VERY warm at night.
Fine options for both breakfast and dinner at the place's own restaurant, or you can buy freshly baked bread for the breakfast, if you wish to do that instead.
The staff in the reception are very kind and helpful.
