You can easily enjoy beach and country life with a holiday here since it is only 30 km from the fine sandy beaches (eg, Marina di Castagneto Carducci), and at the same time is surrounded by beautiful forests and landscapes. The Borgo Il Massera is a good starting point for both walks and interesting days out visiting historic towns and villages. The small town of Monteverdi Marittimo is approx. 5km away, where you will find a grocery store, and a number of restaurants including La Vecchia Osteria amongst other great eateries. You will find a larger supermarket in Suvereto (10 km).
