You'll find the location of Villa Grassina most relaxing; it is perched 1.5 km high above Pelago village in beautiful and tranquil surroundings with hills and mountains; where vineyards and olive trees, old castles and citadels enhance the landscape.
Taste the oil and wine
The villa once belonged to one of the oldest aristocratic families in Florence, and today you can taste the most outstanding olive oil, honey and wine (Vin Santo) that is produced here. They also make a fine Grappa and several kinds of jam. Due to the location of the villa being on a hill, you can enjoy the most spectacular scenic views from here. The road leading to the villa is very steep but is has been finished well with cement to make access easier for vehicles.

Take a dip in the pool or hydromassage
Relax in the large garden on a sun lounger by the pool (20 x 10 m large, 80 - 130 cm deep) and take a dip to cool down when the sun gets too hot, and there is also a hydro massage bath where you can get a soothing massage with the water jets. You'll also find a tennis court and table tennis here if you want to knock about the ball. You can dine on site at the small eatery here which is only open on the weekends and serves delicious home cooked food using home grown produce and other supplies sourced locally. There is also a reception where English is spoken, a laundry room for a fee, bike rental and a small playground for the children.
Rustic Apartments
The apartments are simple and rustic and are located in the main building or in one of the nearby farm houses. There are 42 in total and they all have a kitchenette, satellite TV, and independent entrance and outdoor furniture.
