This is such a likeable place to stay for a very reasonable price, and it's a place where many of our customers return year after year. You can really appreciate nature at its best in this wonderful setting, and you'll find some great hiking trails in the area.
The Davini family have created a cosy and quaint setting for a true Tuscan holiday experience, and they farm the land organically themselves. The 7 apartments are tasteful and rustic, and on the site you can enjoy the lovely swimming pool with splendid views, and have free use of a barbeque and the pick of organic home grown produce. There is also a small charming restaurant here which doesn't have fixed opening hours as such, but caters when there is a demand. Giovanna will cook you a plentiful and tasty Tuscan meal whilst Roberto helps you to choose a nice bottle of wine to compliment your meal.

we arrived in darkness and was a little excited. But the lights shone us out to us, and so did the hospitality. The next day we were enthralled by the beauty of the landscape.
As you write yourselves, I didn't think that such a little oasis still existed, but it does and thank you for that. It was a nice experience.
The location is fantastic and the hostesses are sweet and helpful. The place can totally be recommended. But you have to be aware of that the place is a bit faraway, and you will have to drive a bit to see Toscana. The distance is not that far but it certainly takes some time to drive around in the mountains.
We came home last Tuesday and we are still living on the fond memories of our wonderful vacation.
It was our second time there, and again it was a great succes. Heartwarming hugs at arrival and departure (and they seemed like it was genuine).
Great food (Friday and Saturday night, and Sunday for lunch), an amazing staff and the surrounding... Just gorgeous.
An example of the heartwarming, caring attitude of the staff (they are not many, and they really WORK HARD): I am chronically ill, and therefore I have my good days and my bad days. On one of my bad days I was sitting at the terrace, and everyone came by, asking "How are you?" and brought the food of the staff to me, both morning and night ("You are so thin!"). When the chef had been plucking vegetables in the garden, she came by with a large tomato with basil on.
I was actually considering writing a negative review, so there would not be so many other people who booked a vacation here, making it easier for myself to book my favourite appartment for the spring (no, I will not tell you which one... :-) ), but my mother has taught me not to lie, so...
It is 6 years ago that we were here last time, but despite of that it was like coming home. We had the warmest greeting. The family recognized us, despite the many years passing.
If you welcome the hospitality of the family and the village, you are sure to get the most amazing and unique experiences!!
We will definitely come back, probably within the next couple of years and with slightly improved Italian skills.
We were only there for 3 days, but it was so good that we could have moved there. The place is just something for us and had everything we needed. We would defiantly come back.
