So if you are not in hurry, it might take some time to arrive at the tower, as you have sat down at one of the lovely terraces on the Piazza’s. While you are at the tower, you might as well visit the Cathedral (Duomo), the biggest in Europe at the time when it was built. At the same piazza you find the circular building “the Baptistry” This is the place where Galileo Galilei was baptised. Furthermore you can find here the Camposanto, a monumental cemetery.
