Nothing is luxurious, but we can say that it is authentic, rustic and a typically warm-hearted Tuscan farmhouse with spacious apartments.
Fattoria Piecorto produces fine wine and olive oil and has five extremely spacious apartments spread over three old farm buildings. From the outside it is picture-postcard-pretty, and if you disregard the roughcast that was carried out indoors in the 1980's, the apartments are really very attractive with their spaciousness and many fine antique pieces of furniture. NB. Heating is not possible!

If you had to describe the farm using only one word it would be 'rustic', but that is what you expect in the countryside. Generally the kitchens are good quality. There is no central heating as such but there are fireplaces. There is plenty of space around the buildings for children and adults to play about undisturbed on the lawns, under the olive trees or in the 14 x 7 metre swimming pool. If you want to go out to dine and do some shopping, then Poggibonsi is 5 km from the farm.

We spent a lovely holiday at a great and calm farm with a lovely pool. The location is on a small hill between olive groves and vineyards, which is fantastic. The place is very picturesque, and the location between Florence, Siena and San Giminagno is great.
The apartments are spacious and clean. They are dark, old, and there is not internet, though.
We didn't see the owners during the week, but we were warmly received by Olivia, who greeted us with great kindness and helpfulness.

All in all we spent a very lovely holiday, and we recommend this place for the location, beauty and calm.
I would definetly recommend the accomodation to anybody who would like to have a relaxed atmosphare with lots of culture.
Fattoria Piecorto is aprox 7 minutes drive from Poggibonsi (on cart-road) next to a beautiful vine/olive-yard.
While the surroundings is peaceful there are lots to see in the Region (within 80 km) (Sienna, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano etc.)
The only thing I would suggest is to install mosqito nets on the windows of the houses to be able to keep them open dusring the day/night.

Old stone building, place is solitary between vineyards and olive groves, really wonderful holiday with lovely view from the pool.
