Lovely place

Is located wonderfully with a view beyond compare.

The house is a bit worn down, but cosy. However, there should be fans in all the rooms, since they are very hot.

The kitchen is missing an oven (it is currently on the 3rd floor) - there's not enough equipment and too few glasses, but otherwise it's okay.

Have been there three times and will go back.

Nice house and pool, and beautiful surroundings.

We had a nice stay in Villa Irene for 16 people, 8 children and 8 adults. The rooms and baths were very good.
The kitchen, however, wasn't good enough for 20 persons as you promised in your presentation. There were not enough wine-glasses, just 16 milkglasses and 16 knives. The gas-equipment for cooking was ok, but running up to the second floor to the stove for making dinner-meals during the week isn't good enough. The stove had only one shaky grill that didn't fit in the track and twice fell down in the stove-bottom.
The worst, however, is that the dish-washer-machine didn't heat, but washed in cold water. Therfore it didn't dry the glasses and dishes in the end. We had to rewash by hand. Luckily none of us got sick. It could spoiled the whole holiday. The trays are also difficult to pull out and push in with dishes in.The dish-washer is needed to be changed!
We have mentioned all this to the local manager.
If the details mentioned above will be fixed, we would like to, come back and recommand Villa Irene to our friends.

Yours

Magne Utle

Grand family from Norway on holiday in Tuscany.

We had 2 lovely holiday weeks from the 4th to the 18th of July in Villa Irene Pomaia. We were 16 people from the ages of 7 months to 64 years. We villa was exactly liked we had imagined. Shopping was mostly handled in Cecina on the way home from the beach. We also used the shopped in Pomaia. We did most of the cooking ourselves. We used the outdoor grill and the kitchen. It worked well. We also used the restaurant in Borgo di Pormaia, and ordered pizza to the villa a couple of times. We took some good memories back home from Villa Irene. We wont forget the beautiful sunrises and the lovely night sky. It was like a fairy tale.
One thing we want to mention: We were aware that, the apartment didn't have any air condition. We understand that, since the electrical costs would be huge, but with 30 degree heat at night, it was difficult to fall asleep at times. We got 2 fans at our disposal, but most nights it got too hot, especially on the top floor. If the villa had had more celling fans in all bedrooms, it would have a lot better. They're only needed at night.

Family holiday in Villa Irene

We were 20 people on a family holiday in Villa Irene, 9 adults and 11 kids. The villa is very spacious and we experienced that there were enough rooms and bathrooms for all. The rooms are big and inviting and the bathrooms are big.
The kitchen is well decorated. There isn't a lot of space in the fridge, but when there was put a small chest freezer in the kitchen we used it to cool water, etc. A big minus is the oven, which is placed on the 2nd floor. It is far to walk with things that need baking + it is a small oven.
We enjoyed both the pool and tennis court, which were frequently used. The pool has a fine size and the stairs in one end was fun for the small children. The pool was cleaned every night.
We ate out on the terrace (gravel) between the house and pool each night and enjoyed the fantastic view out over the beautiful landscape.
