A dream for the green
You can feel at ease knowing that almost everything here works on a green energy system to minimise their impact on the environment. Sabina and her husband have invested significant resources and time in developing this system that uses sunflower and soya oil to produce energy. They live here all year round and it is their aim that they and their guests are as little burden as is possible on the environment. They have created something really special here, and there is a lovely family atmosphere.

Pool with views and communal terrace area
From the pool in the large garden of 50 hectares of land with olive trees, vines and cypresses, you can enjoy the wonderful fresh air and valley views. The apartments also have a common outdoor area in the large courtyard between buildings, and some apartments have a private terrace with a table and chairs where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a homemade meal and soak up the tranquil Tuscan countryside.
Taste the fresh flavours
You can dine in the old villa, where the couple have arranged a small restaurant making use of the villa's own production of olive oil, vegetables and other homegrown produce. The owners have hired one of their neighbours, a true Tuscan housewife who prepares authentic dishes with an eye for tradition, but at the same time, with a modern touch. Breakfast is served between the hours of 08:00 and 10:00am. Both breakfast - and dinner if you choose to eat here - can be enjoyed on the terrace in front of the villa, weather permitting of course.
Apartments
There are no apartments in the main villa, but just a few hundred metres from the villa there are some farmhouses: Casale Valdese, Casale Burraia, Casale La Tinaia and Casale La Loggia, which house a total of 5 apartments with 4 beds in each. The apartments are spread over one or two floors. The apartments have a kitchenette (two electric hobs and a small fridge) and are ideal for families who want to make simple dishes (kitchens are not suitable for the preparation of large meals). The apartments all have air conditioning, satellite TV, furnished outdoor area or private terrace. There is a Wi-Fi internet connection in the villa's common areas and it can be used for a fee.
Rooms
The rooms in the restored farmhouses (Casale Valdese, Casale Burraia, La Loggia and Casale La Tinaia) are spacious, but less "noble" in their furnishings than those in the main building of Il Trebbiolo Relais. They have the advantage that you go directly from the room outside where you can sit and enjoy the sun (or shade) on the common terrace, located between the houses. In addition to a television, a mini-bar, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a toilet and shower or bath and hairdryer, the rooms also have the air conditioning.
- Standard rooms are smaller compared to Superior Rooms (most Superior rooms have a bath with water massage). Family rooms can house up to 4 people; they can either consist of two separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom or be extra large rooms located on two levels with an entrance on the ground floor, where there is a bathroom and two twin beds and an open loft with a double bed.
