Trips to fascinating towns, countryside jaunts and vineyards visits

The ancient town of Pontassieve is less than 2 km away where you will find a wide selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and it also has the remains of a historic 14th Century castle 'Castello di San Michele'. There is also a train station from where you can easily take trains to Florence and so many other exciting places in the region. The countryside around I Veroni is a wonderful place for hiking and biking if you want to take the family on an adventure. You can take a tour at the great historic winery 'Fattoria I Veroni' owned by the same people as these apartments just a few kilometres away and once a week they organise wine tasting for guests. You are also welcome to visit at other times during your stay, and you can of course buy the farm's wines, their vinsanto and their olive oil.

Stylish and homely apartments

The apartments have been recently decorated with exquisite taste and a blend of old and new throughout. The owners of I Veroni are also the owners of one of the largest vineyards in the area and it's clearly evident that no expense has been spared here! A high degree of comfort is available for guests with air conditioning, wi-fi internet, Satellite TV and mosquito nets on every window. They all also have an outside area and there are barbeques for all to use.

Super service

Nice facilities and possibilities for activities, like pasta courses and donkey riding. Located around 2 km from the town. Requires car anyway. Kind staff. Intimate place with a few apartments. Nice view and good pool.

Fantastic view

Fantastic place. You are calm right away. The staff is very kind. The apartment had what should (although we bought a coffee filter cone and coffee filters, since the Italian coffee pot only were for two persons). Fantastic view wherever you looked.

Fine apartment - fine surroundings in the middle of the vineyards

We were 4 adults, who had a lovely week in the beautiful surroundings. The apartment was all right. The only thing we needed was an oven. There was only a microwave.

I Veronis' own red wine "Chianti Rufina" is highly recommended. It costs 9 euro.
