At IlTrebbiolo, you stay in the beautiful Tuscan hills covered by olive trees and tall cypress trees, 10 km north of Fiesole, where the winding roads lead the way to Pontassieve on the other side of Florence.
Let the kind hosts Sabrina and her husband make you feel at home on your holiday. They live here all year round and offer a warm welcome to all guests. Since 2010, they have been proudly generating their own energy in the form of electricity through the use of oil from sunflower and soya plants. For this reason alone, Il Trebbiolo is extraordinary.

Il Trebbiolo is set in 50 hectares of scenic land with olive trees, vines and cypresses which you can so easily call a park. You can enjoy wonderful views of the Tuscan valley from the beautiful swimming pool in the garden, and take full advantage of the sun loungers around the pool's terrace and outdoor dining furniture in front of the villa to soak up the delightful Tuscan ambience.
The small and cosy restaurant on-site makes use of the villa's own production of olive oil, vegetables and other home grown delights. The owners have hired one of their neighbours - a true Tuscan housewife who prepares authentic dishes with an eye for tradition, but is careful not to make the food too heavy. The portions are plentiful, but yet light and not fatty ... so the result is truly delicious! Combined with a good bottle of wine - or just a glass, it tastes even better! The restaurant offers a good selection of wines to choose from, either from Tuscany or other Italian wine regions.
Breakfast is served between the hours of 08.00 and 10.00 and is included in the price for the guests staying in the both the rooms and the apartments. Dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace outside when the weather permits.
The rooms are located partly on the villa's first floor, and in three old and now beautifully restored farmhouses - Casale Valdese, Casale Burraia, La Loggia and then Casale La Tinaia, which is somewhat remote but has just as nice furnishings. Both the rooms in the villa and those in the farmer's house are much bigger than those that you may be accustomed to seeing. The rooms are all different as they have been uniquely decorated with great style and finesse.
There are only 8 rooms in the villa and they all have a special atmosphere and are decorated with antique furniture. They have a TV, mini-bar, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a toilet and shower or bath and a hairdryer. The difference between the room types in the villa is basically their size and view.
Standard rooms are more ordinary in their decoration and face the villa's garden while
Junior Suite and Suite rooms are more lavishly decorated and face the valley.
