It is evident that the architect behind Villa Loscove sought inspiration in the Tuscan Renaissance when he sat at the drawing board. Inevitably his inspiration came from aristocratic 15th century country seats, although the ambitions (and dimensions) here are much reduced.
But even though you cannot accommodate an entire aristocratic family and its household in Villa Loscove, nobody can deny that the views are outstanding. When you look out from the tower, or from the covered terrace towards the Casentino valley and Poppi's fascinating castle, you can only marvel at the sight. The villa's garden borders the woods and has a 10 x 5 m swimming pool.
