It's really rare that we encounter such a personal and cosy villa! But it is not every day that the owners themselves use the house as much as they do at Villa La Sovrana.
You would have to be from Siena to know which of the 17 districts of the city that the owners come from. There are many examples of the owners origins displayed throughout the house, and it is indeed with the villa name La Sovrana, that they are from Contrada dell'Istrice, or hedgehogs district.

The quaint old stone house was fully refurbished and modernized a few years ago. You can reach the village Stigliano in around 700 metres of gravel road from the villa, (and four km from Rosia) and it is set in a peaceful area with beautiful views from both the large garden with all the fruit trees and the swimming pool of 11 x 5 metres (depth 120-210 cm). You can relax and dine on the large covered terrace at the front of the house where there is a large bricked barbeque.

- The house is approximately 180 sqm and is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a very cosy living room with a sofa, a dining table and a nice open kitchen with a large fireplace, which also serves as a grill, a four burner stove, an oven and a large fridge with a freezer compartment and a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. On the first floor there are four double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower and toilet.
