Rosignano Solvay is located along the coast between the more famous towns of Castiglioncello and Vada. The town has evolved in line with the Solvay factory which today produces salt and other sea foods. So there is nothing dangerous about the large, narrow tower that rises above the town. The beaches here are famous for their fine white sand and are extremely child-friendly. In town you will find all the amenities and eateries that you would expect to find in a seaside resort and actually a little more, as the town is inhabited all year round. In the hills behind the coast is the medieval centre, Rosignano Timo, where you can see more of the Tuscan islands.
