Fattoria La Loggia is a haven that sits in the beautiful Chianti countryside amidst vineyards, green fields and historic hamlets. These beautiful stone houses are dotted around the grounds of this historic estate with plenty of outdoor space and a lovely swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers so you can kick back on warm days and cool down in the pool. The surrounding area that comprises the Chianti valley is a paradise for nature lovers, cyclists and hikers alike. Day trips on bike, on foot or in the car will take you through some fantastic places; ancient forests, harmonious landscapes bathed in the sun and well preserved villages rich in cultural, artistic and culinary heritage.

Great wine and art under one roof
Today the farm produces excellent wines ranging from a simple Chianti to Spumante and white wine and super Tuscan and Chianti Classico Riserva. They also produce a fine olive oil with the mild rounded taste without too much acidity that is so characteristic of these hills. The owner is a patron of art, and a special feature of the farm is the annual number of artists allowed to stay free of charge on the condition that they leave a work of art behind. Consequently pieces by many different artists are now on display in the main building, the apartments and in the park. Additional amenities include bike hire, table tennis, and a communal barbeque.

A holiday at Fattoria La Loggia is a tonic for those seeking a country holiday. Here you’ll experience the magnificent Tuscan landscape as you see it in movies and on postcards. It’s quite simply picture perfect! There are many well known vineyards close by and many opportunities to take tours and sample the goods. The delightful town of San Casciano is approx. 8 km away where you will find no shortage of cafés, restaurants and all manner of shops. Florence is approx. 35 km away if you are seeking a day trip to a bigger city. If you fly to Florence airport, within approx 35 minutes after picking up your hire car from the airport, you can be here in this wonderful Tuscan paradise.
The eight apartments are all in the old buildings and are largely furnished with antiques. All the apartments have a telephone, satellite TV, wi-fi internet and a safety deposit box. One bedroom apartment Clara Bella (1st floor): - One bedroom apartment on the first floor that sleeps 2 to 4 people. This apartment consists of an entrance hall, a kitchen, a living room with fireplace, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with bath. It is possible to sleep an extra two people on the sofa bed in the living room (best for children). One bedroom apartment Ambasciatore (1st floor): - One bedroom apartment on the first floor that sleeps 2 - 4 people. This apartment consists of an entrance hall, a kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with bath. It is possible to sleep two extra people on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). One bedroom apartment Poppy (1st floor): - One bedroom apartment on the first floor with a sleeping loft that sleeps 2 - 5. This apartment has an entrance hall, a living room with a kitchenette and a double sofa bed, a sleeping loft with a sofa bed for one person (best suited for children under 14), a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom/toilet. It is possible to sleep two extra people on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). One bedroom apartment Balestruccio (1st floor): - One bedroom apartment on the first floor with a sleeping loft that sleeps 2 - 5 people. The apartment consists of an entrance hall, a living room with a fireplace, a small kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a sleeping loft over the living room with a single bed and a bathroom/toilet. It is possible to sleep two more people on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). Two bedroom apartment Frantoio (ground floor): - Two bedroom apartment on the ground floor that sleeps 4. This apartment has a small living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with a bath. Two bedroom apartment Dimora Reale (1st floor): - Two bedroom apartment on the first floor that sleeps 4 - 6 people. This apartment consists of a hall, a large living room with a fireplace and a kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds (can be made into one) and two bathrooms one with bath. It is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). Two bedroom apartment La Torretta (1st floor): - Two bedroom apartment on the first floor that sleeps 5 - 7 people. The apartment consists of a hall, a spacious living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom with a jacuzzi, a bedroom with a narrow double bed (140 cm wide), a small open room in the attic over the living room with a single bed. It is possible to sleep two more people on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). Three bedroom apartment Brighella (1st floor): - Three bedroom apartment on the first floor that sleeps 6 - 8 people.
