This house is not only located near the south of Florence, as well as adjacent to a small lake, surrounded by the verdant Chianti countryside with olive groves and vineyards. A place where you, and your family or friends can relax and can enjoy each other's company to the max.
We are in the countryside, near the road that runs between two of Italy's most recognizable cities, namely Florence and Siena. You are surrounded by beautiful, green landscape and the location is quiet and very private. The proximity to the several surrounding villages make your stay exceptionally comfortable, complemented with an outdoor pool to provide you the final touch for a lovely holiday.
A few kilometers away is the charming town of San Casciano Val di Pesa (4.7 km.) with her beautiful historic sites. Of course you can find bars, restaurants and shopping options. You can even choose to drive north, to Tavarnuzze (6.5 km.)where you can find the most basic necessities for in your fridge. Should you feel the urge to experience good shopping, crowds of people and cultural sights you can head to the fantastic Florence, which is just about 30 min. away by car (18.8 km.). As stated you are surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and there are many exciting winehouses you can explore. Rememberto get a good bottle of wine from one of the countless wineries for at home.
Fall in love with Chianti
It's easy to fall in love with Tuscany and her wonderful landscape. Once you have spend a few nights here, it can be difficult to go back home when the time comes. Il Casale del Lago Podere Nuovo belongs to the province of Florence and the area you are in, has a long history dating back to Etruscan times. A large part of Tuscany's sights are found within comfortable driving distance. How about lunch in the cozy Greve in Chianti and dinner in the impressive San Gimignano with all its churches and towers.
You have a private pool
Do you feel you need to take a day of rest, then chill out in one of the lounge chairs, reading your book or doing your nap. When you wake up, take a dip in the lovely outdoor pool. After a long day of relaxing, you most probably have the hunger setting in, then you and your own kitchen are manager of the cooking skills. You can enjoy the evening mood with candlelight and al fresco dining, or visit one of the nearby trattorias serving local specialties. If you would like to enjoy evening activities, you can go beyond for wonderful walks, table tennis and billiards. You decide how your day should look like, and that's just one of the many advantages of living in your own house.
Spacious house sleeps 12
The house comprises two floors, or rather three, for the top floor there is a bathroom with jacuzzi. On the lower floor you have a large wooden kitchen, common living room and TV room, and on the other floors you will find the bedrooms and bathrooms. The house has eight solid beds but can accommodate up to 12 people, as there are two sofa beds that can be used. Facilities include air conditioning, microwave, pizza (wood) oven, coffee maker, wi-fi, sat-TV, DVD, washer, dryer and dishwasher are in the house. The furnishings are in country style though, simple and rustic.

The villa covers about 200 m2 surface area. On the lower floor there is a large kitchen with dining area, toilet, common living room with sofa bed, television room and sofa bed, up the staircase you find two bathrooms and four bedrooms, each with two beds. After another staircase on the top floor you have the master bathroom with hydromassage.
