The hotel is distinguished among other things by its 'never stand still' attitude. The owners are always striving to improve the quality and the facilities. A fitness centre was added in June 2013 of 60m² which includes a treadmill, a spinning bike, an elliptical bike, various sizes of dumbbells and fitness balls and various resistance machines made by BH Fitness.

Ample space for both children and adults
Hotel Sovestro offers everything that you could need for a wonderful holiday in the heart of Tuscany with a good natured accommodating team of staff. There is plenty of space, so both families with children and couples can enjoy the place and have their holiday needs met. There is a large children's area located in the middle of a green lawn in the corner of the property, while the adults will probably spend their time relaxing around the large swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. There is also a large car park.
Good breakfast and great restaurant
The restaurant deserves a special mention; indeed, it is so good that we have chosen to list it under "recommended restaurants in San Gimignano". Let's just say that Lucia makes better food than 9 out of 10 restaurants in Tuscany where a high standard generally prevails. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and various, in-fact is better than in many 4 star hotels. NB: the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
Spacious rooms with terrace or balcony
The rooms are spacious, well furnished, have good beds and all equipped with a private bathroom / toilet, air conditioning, a mini-bar and 26'' LCD TV with SKY channels. Most rooms are located on the ground floor and have access to a private terrace with a table and chairs, while the rooms on the 1st floor have a spacious balcony. The hotel also has Wi-Fi. If you want to go to San Gimignano, we recommend that you take the old road because it is quiet, which is about 100 metres behind the hotel. It is approx. 1800 metres to the historic centre on this old road (or 1600 metres on the main road).
