A few kilometers outside the "town with the beautiful towers" San Gimignano, this splendid villa in art nouveau style is a testimony to the time when buildings were constructed not only to be beautiful, but also to be durable; characteristics sadly lacking in modern day architecture.
The grand villa with exquisite views over San Gimignano's towers has today been converted to a hotel and restaurant. However, it should be pointed out that most of the bedrooms are found in the newer annex and not in the villa itself. There are 20 bedrooms all with TV, telephone, safe deposit box and en suite bathroom.
A large swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas are available for guests. You are also free to eat your breakfast alongside the pool, and if you want a well prepared meal in the evening, the hotel restaurant offers classic Tuscan dishes and good wines. The meal is served on a large covered terrace overlooking the countryside.
The hotel also has a bar, TV lounge and breakfast restaurant.
