What's on the menu

Six different wines are included in the tasting: two white, three red and a dessert wine. The tasting is accompanied by explanations of the process, and also some delicious antipasti such as bruscetta with tomatoes and olive oil made at the farm, the local pecarino sheep cheese, almond cakes - cantuccinis. For children under 16 years of age, there is a slightly different menu with less wine and more sweets of course. One child is allowed to join in for free per adult.

Meet the Cesani family

The family moved from neighbouring Marche in 1950 and began to cultivate the land. They bought their knowledge of wine and olive oil production and worked hard to transform the land. They also bought their son Vincenzo who today is grown up and married to Cesarina with two daughers called Letizia and Maria Luisa. Today they have expanded the production of a simple everyday wine to excellent quality reds and whites which have been awarded numerous prizes. A wonderful grappa and olive oil are also amongst their quality produce. Furthermore, they have arranged part of their estate with very nice rooms and a communal swimming pool providing a beautiful setting for an authentic holiday in Tuscany's countryside. Furthermore, you can expect fresh ham and sausages at breakfast that comes from local pigs that are reared by the family's employee.

The event lasts two hours and is conducted in English. It is held every weekday at 16:00 from 1 April to 31 October. Feel free to contact our travel team for more information about this, or about any other accommodation options and excursions in Tuscany.
