In the little village Gello Biscardo there are no shops, no post office and no bank.
In fact, there is nothing but a series of picturesque small houses, amazingly beautiful scenery and a marvellous small restaurant where you have to book a table well in advance if you want to eat. Advanced booking is most unusual in Italy where you normally book the same day, but here people will tell you with awe that you often have to book several days in advance! This says a lot about the quality for good restaurants are plentiful in this part of Italy.

The restaurant proprietors also have four apartments dotted around the village. They are all exquisitely decorated in superb taste, and the space is surprisingly well utilized. The kitchens are outstandingly good and solid, and light years ahead of their northern European cardboard counterparts.
Around 100-150 m from the apartments is the 14 x 6 m large shared swimming pool in a sunny and peaceful position a little up the hill with lovely views of the valley. The swimming pool and its surroundings exude the same stylish taste that is the hallmark of the apartments and the restaurant. Near the swimming pool you will also find a barbeque.
