Villa Panzalla is a scenic four kilometres outside of San Polo in Chianti. The trip to arrive here takes you along a narrow dirt road to a peaceful spot (best not to arrive in a low profile sports car!) and you will appreciate the views along the way.
There are only six apartments here so you will be sharing the pool with the other guests. The pool measures 10 x 5 metres, and from the poolside you have the most amazing views of the rolling Chianti countryside. The main building dates from the 16th Century and has been completely renovated.

There is also a washing machine and barbeque for common use by the guests at the farm. A mile away is Castello di Fabbroni (same owners), where three times a week you can have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, you need to notify at 14:00 the day before, if you wish to dine in the restaurant.

We lived at the place for 2 weeks in the 2 different 3-bedroom apartments. Incredibly wonderful with the most amazing and warmest hosts, who wants only the best for their guests. We can only warmly recommend the place. We ate at the neighbouring farm 4 times. Excellent food for very little money (4 dishes for 20 euro, drinks are also priced very fairly, the places own wine from prices of 5-10 euro) both Tuesdays we ordered pizzas at our hosts, also very delicious and cheap. We ordered bread delivery from the local COOP through our hosts and had it delivered every morning. The place lies far our with a fantastic view over the valley towards the village.
