The Prodia is a farm house rich in history that rests quietly beside a monastery and overlooks the historic town of Siena (3 km away). With breathtaking views, a great pool and a warm welcoming family run farm, what more could you ask for?
Relaxed atmosphere and friendly style
With such peaceful settings, the opportunities for relaxation are abundant, although the opportunity to take a sightseeing tour of Siena or to make use of the nearby activities is also just as easy due to La Prodias great location. The garden offers a shady spot to relax in with a glass of locally made wine before or after a stroll along the country paths. In the evening it’s a great place for that much loved barbeque or pizza made in the wood fire oven. Don’t worry if you’ve never made pizza before as the owners are more than happy to provide help if you need it.

Solid apartments and lovely pool
The Prodaia has been in the same family for 500 years! So as you might guess they have great local knowledge and are always happy to assist you with anything you require, including information on sightseeing, local cuisine, entertainment for the children, making pizza and the properties history.
The apartments are solidly and well furnished, some with antique furniture and all have a kitchenette with 4 burners, and oven and refrigerator. There is plenty of room to explore outdoors in the garden, or you can lounge around the swimming pool of 5 x 11 metres built by the owner Giancarlo in 2007. There are sun loungers by the pool, but no umbrellas, on the other hand, there is a shady area under a gazebo.
Restaurants around
The nearest restaurant is only 600 metres away, and a further one can be found approx. 1800 metres away on the way to Siena, which is also near to a supermarket. Within a 5 minute walk from La Prodaia there is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to Siena for further shopping and dining options. Nearby in the countryside, there are also options for horse riding and playing tennis. A little further out you will find the thermal spas, a fishing lake and a golf course. It's also good to know that small pets are allowed and that parking is available.

The apartment “Lo Spigo” (ground floor, 40 sq. m) is ideal for a couple. It consists of a fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom overlooking the garden, a living room and bathroom with toilet and shower.
The apartment “La Malva” (ground floor, 55 sq. m) is ideal for a couple and consists of a fully equipped kitchen / living room with a 2 burner stove, oven and fridge, one double bedroom and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
The apartment “Il Timo” (first floor, 53 sq. m) has a wonderful view of Siena and the surrounding countryside. It is composed of two double bedrooms, a large and fully equipped kitchen/living room and a bathroom with shower.
