In fact you have such an amazing view of Siena from Podere Fornacino, it seems a lot closer than 12 km away. The drive to Siena takes you along some wonderful scenic winding roads typical of the Tuscan countryside.
Enjoy the outdoors
A small well maintained gravel road of several hundred metres takes you to the house, surrounded by fields, valleys and forests. Immerse yourselves in the spacious garden and enjoy days in and around the pool, then of course there is the barbeque where you can cook up a storm in the evening. It is rare to see so much outdoor furniture in one place: When we last visited the farm there were 14 tables, 51 chairs and 16 sunbeds!

Simple apartments, nicely decorated
The small farm consists of two buildings, the old farmhouse and a smaller annex building which are located right next to each other. The annex is divided into two apartments (Borgonero and Doga delle Clavule), and if desired, they can be connected by opening an inner door to create an independent small house. The apartments are simple but tastefully decorated, and all have the possibility of heating, an alarm system and satellite television.
