A little south of Siena, on the road to Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano, the small farm Podere Rigo is set in soft hills.
The two buildings making up the old farm have recently been renovated, and the owners and their children live in the main building while the old barn has been converted to two charming apartments. In order to preserve as much of the original style as possible, construction of new walls has been kept to a minimum.

Therefore the apartments consist of one room with the kitchen-dining /living room separated from the bedroom by a brick wall. The kitchens are solid and fitted with good cookers, microwave ovens and a fridge/freezer. The bright bedrooms have country views. The apartments also have a bathroom with shower cabin, and satellite TV. In the garden there is a small swimming pool (semi raised), barbecue and three terraces, two belonging to the ground floor apartments and the third to those on the first floor.
