A little over a kilometre outside the small town of Sillicagnana (where you will find a bakery, a butcher, grocery store and a bar / pizzeria) is Agriturismo Salvera set peacefully amidst the lush scenery with impressive views of the valley and mountains. You will find further dining and shopping options In the nearby town of San Romano.
You can wander freely around the old farm where they still produce spelt wheat, various fruits, chestnut flour and vegetables. you can even visit the pigs and pat them on the head, they all have names too! Genny, who runs the farm, also has six small apartments which are simply furnished, almost spartan in-fact but are fitting with the simplicity of a peaceful country holiday immersed in nature. The fresh air and the cordial reception here more than makes up for the simple rooms.

Now on the other hand, there is everything you need in all apartments, including kitchen facilities, functioning bathrooms and a private patio area with tables and chairs. There is a really nice 12 x 6 metre swimming pool with a magnificent view, and unusually the pool is filled with spring water since there is a natural water source on the farm. It is possible for guests to order homemade food based on the farm's many home-grown ingredients.
