There is no reason to get bored here. It goes without saying that you should enjoy the large garden and pool, but also you can take excursions to the beautiful, neglected medieval city of Arezzo easily from here.
A magnificently overlooked part of Tuscany
Here you stay in the midst of the lush Casentino valley with the River Arno flowing at the bottom of the valley, and with the mountains above. You will find large forests with endless opportunities for hiking in this area. Not a lot of wine is produced in this part of Tuscany, but the gastronomy is everything you dream about. You will find one of Tuscany's best wine lists at the restaurant "La Tana degli Orsi" in Pratovecchio: The choice is excellent with prices often lower than in shops.
Visit the nearby town
Only a little over 3 km from Casale Lorenzo, you will find the small, peaceful town of Subbiano, where you will find shops, restaurants and a train station. But the nearest restaurant is now only 900 metres from the house. There is also a train station just 1.8 km from Casale Lorenzo, so the opportunities to get to towns in the area without using the car is good.
Enjoy the pool and large garden
The picturesque old stone house is very spacious, and with all six bathrooms, you do not need to stand in line for your morning toilette. The large garden is completely fenced, so you can safely let the children play whilst you enjoy a glass of wine on the covered terrace. At the poolside of the 15 x 8 metre large pool you will find sunbeds and parasols, one changing cabin and a bathroom with shower. Other convenient facilities in the garden include the barbeque and a pizza oven.
