This resort, which enjoyed its first season recently in 2008 is less than a kilometre from some of Tuscany's best beaches. There is everything you need here for a fun beach holiday, with its choice of swimming pools, spa and gymnasium on site, it's a great place for all the family.
There are 55 apartments in total and each has its own small garden with outdoor furniture. At La Rosa dei Venti you will find a reception, parking, bar, playground, coin operated laundry, a fitness room, sports courts(can be used for tennis or mini football) and swimming pools: one for children, one with a spa and an ordinary swimming pool. There is plenty of evening entertainment here and there is a restaurant, a pizzeria and a supermarket approx. 300 metres away. There is the possibility of internet access for a surcharge in the rooms.

Clean, well maintained, functional (you find, everything you need). The staff is very pleasant and speaks English. The bar is also the restaurant, and the food is of good quality. Luna Park, which is right next to the hotel, is open from 22 to 02 o'clock, so if you want complete silence, don't hesitate to ask (via Marina from In-Italia it worked perfectly).
One apartment is overlooking the A 10/ A 14. The apartment (for 4 people) is clean and has a lovely garden-corner. There's also a common grill.
The entertainment-team does everything, they can to start activities.
We had a great vacation in Italy. The place is really good maintained, and the staff and entertainment team is very service minded. The pictures you can see at Villaggio Rosa dei Venti's page here at In-Italia is consistent with reality. Good location for visiting the surrounding area. Do not miss the white beach and the beaches by Piombino. We have tested the restaurant La Ventola, which is located nearby; it's great and the lido right next to the beach is peaceful. Be aware of the fact that the villa accepts, that guests are bringing their dogs. That can annoying, when the dogs are left behind in the apartments, and are barking dag or night. However it didn't bother me particularly. I especially recommend a vacation here, if you have children. My son on 7 years met a lot of new friends. :-)
Villaggio Rosa dei Venti was second stop on our family vacation, where the family consists of dad, mom, and 3 teenagers (17, 16, and 13) 2 girls and a boy.
The first week was in Rome, where week 2 consisted of sun and water.
The place was really nice with good facilities and a very helpful staff, everything is nice and clean, paths, lawns and common areas.
The staff in the pool area, who's also in charge of sports activities, was almost too energetic about getting people to engage themselves, but that might be a matter of preferences.
There's a nice fun-evening-life in Mazzanta, but no "night life" for the big "children", which wasn't something we had been looking for anyway.
The nearby town, Cecina, has everything the heart could desire, so you don't have to get around that much.
The distance to the beach was our only point of complaint, but it was known to us in advance. It was further, than we wanted to walk in swimwear, just like the beach itself wasn't as nice as we've seen in other places in Italy, but still very much approved.
Very helpful and friendly staff, small inconveniences were immediately solved.
We will be back in September.
Really fine holiday complex. Good placement when you want to explore the area. Close to a good beach. Short way to shopping, bar and restaurants. Lovely atmosphere. Kind and helpful staff.
Super fine apartments.
The only minus is the internet connection. Hard to maintain the connection, and you can't pull the connection from the roof terrace.
But Villaggio Rosa is definitely a place which can be recommended.
