The small town of Venturina doesn’t have a lot to offer in the way of cultural experiences or entertainment. However, the sumptuous little patisserie in Via Dante is worth a visit, especially if you have a sweet tooth. Otherwise Venturina has a rather ordinary selection of shops and restaurants. In its favour, it is well situated for day trips. For example, its just 7-8 km to the nearest beach. And the nearby motorway, which was once the old Roman road, Via Aurelia, makes getting around fast and easy. If cultural experiences and history are on your agenda, then you can drive the 27 km to Massa Marittima. Pisa and Siena are also within reasonable driving distance (about 100 km).
