Review of Villa Opera

We lived at Villa Opera from the 31-07-15 to 04-08-15. We had chosen the place by In-Italia's recommendation, to live close to the concert with Andrea Bocelli in Lajarico, which wasn't far away. It was a very good choice. We enjoyed the breakfast in the outdoors with fresh baked bread, which a local baker came with a little before 9 in the morning. All apartments have access to a table in the garden, where you have a wonderful view over the hilly landscape. After breakfast we could relax by the pool in good loungers. The pool was clean and inviting. We travelled 4 people in 3 generations and we had a lovely time. The apartment worked well. And because it was on the 1. floor, we could open the windows (which were equipped with effective mosquito nets). We therefore didn't need an air conditioner. The place lies close to Volterra, which is a very lovely town. It is very well assorted. COOP close from here. It is necessary to have a car.

Recommendations for future guests

As mentioned, Villa Opera lies well if want to go to a concert with Andrea Bocelli, which happens every summer in Teatro del Silenzio in Lahatico. Tips: If you have numbered tickets, it isn't necessary to come early, the audience are let in 18.30. There can be very warm, and there is no shadow.
Use the parking in Poggio al Lupo, if you can walk up a hill for a few hundred meters.
